How it works

Hats off to Luke Bivens, Founder of QC Growth for this LinkedIn outbound campaign. As someone who helps startups build revenue-driving sales motions, he absolutely crushed it with this campaign for one of this clients.

  • 359 Connection Requests
  • 49 Conversations Started
  • 17 Qualified Meetings
  • $2.5m+ in Qualified Pipeline

This client approached Luke with a common outbound marketing challenge. They had experimented with cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and even tested multichannel outbound combining these channels. Despite their efforts, they faced persistently low reply rates and couldn't attribute any revenue to their outbound initiatives.

Luke and QC Growth stepped in and changed the game.

After a detailed audit, they came up with a more tailored approach to outbound with focus on LinkedIn.

Here’s how the campaign looked like:

LinkedIn outbound campaign

First off, the campaign starts with a connection request containing a personalized note.

Hey {FIRST_NAME} - I’ll be in NYC 1st week of Oct and wanted to reach out to a few CS leaders to see if you’d be open to coffee. I founded [MY COMPANY] after leading teams at [SOCIAL PROOF]. [MY COMPANY] brings together AI + People to help high-growth companies scale [WHAT]. Any interest in that?

If they accept, one day later he automatically visits their profile to keep popping up in notifications and the "Who viewed my profile" tab.

The day after that, another message is sent.

Circling back on this. You’ve been leading CS teams for quite some time so I’d love your feedback on what we’re doing right now at [MY COMPANY]. As an [SOCIAL PROOF], I saw the quality of Customer Support across hundreds of organizations continue to get worse. We’re here to solve that problem and we’re truly bringing together [WHAT]. Are you around the 1st week of Oct?"

That's it. A simple, but elegant campaign.

With 17 qualified meetings booked, including with leaders from companies like Microsoft, Slack, Sprinklr… goes without saying it was a success.
