HeyReach + Cornersight Integration: Setup Guide
Every day, the exact people you want to reach are telling LinkedIn what they care about. They like a competitor's post about reply rates tanking. They comment that they're rebuilding their outbound list this quarter. They react to a thought leader in your space.
And most of that signal disappears into the feed. By the time you've exported a list, cleaned it, filtered it, and uploaded it to a campaign, the moment has passed — and you're back to messaging people who have no idea why you're in their inbox.
What if every relevant like and comment turned into a warm lead in your HeyReach campaign, automatically, while the intent is still fresh?
That's what the Cornersight + HeyReach integration does. In this guide, you'll connect the two tools, choose what to track, and set up an evergreen campaign that fills itself every day.

The building blocks: What's what?
HeyReach – A LinkedIn automation platform built for scale. It lets you run personalized outreach campaigns across multiple LinkedIn accounts, manage sequences with smart delays and conditions, and track every connection request, message, and reply. HeyReach handles the LinkedIn side — safely, efficiently, and at scale.
Cornersight – A LinkedIn engagement intelligence tool. It captures and enriches everyone who likes or comments on LinkedIn posts in your market — posts, profiles, and keywords you choose to track — and scores each person against your ICP. You can pick what to monitor yourself, or let Cornersight's agent deliver high-intent leads to you daily. It does this without ever connecting your LinkedIn account.
What they solve together
- No more list building. Cornersight sources leads from live LinkedIn activity, so your HeyReach campaign fills up without manual exports or CSV uploads.
- Active profiles only. Everyone who lands in your campaign has recently engaged on LinkedIn — they're on the platform and paying attention.
- Context you can actually use. Each lead arrives with the post they engaged with and their comment, so your opener can reference what they said instead of a generic template.
- ICP filtering before outreach. Filters and an ICP match score mean only the right people reach your sequence.
- Evergreen campaigns. Once set up, new matching engagers are pushed to HeyReach on every sync — your campaign keeps running on fresh signal.
What data arrives in HeyReach
Each lead Cornersight sends to HeyReach includes:
- Name
- Job title
- Company
- Country
- LinkedIn profile URL
- ICP match score
- Signal strength
- The post they engaged with
- Their comment (if they left one)
💡 Important note: The integration is person-level only and works worldwide. Only enriched leads with a LinkedIn profile URL are sent. Emails and phone numbers are not included, this integration is built for LinkedIn outreach.
Before you start
You'll need:
- ✅ An active Cornersight account [VERIFY: any plan restriction for the HeyReach integration?]
- ✅ An active HeyReach account with API access
- ✅ At least one LinkedIn sender account connected in HeyReach
- ✅ A HeyReach campaign that's launched (not in draft) — we'll create one in Step 3
Setup instructions
Step 1: Generate your HeyReach API key
- Open HeyReach and go to Integrations.
- Select HeyReach API.
- Click New to generate an API key, then copy it.
⚠️ Watch out: Treat your API key like a password. Don't share it in screenshots or recordings — if it's ever exposed, generate a new one.
Step 2: Connect HeyReach inside Cornersight
- In Cornersight, go to Integrations.
- Paste your HeyReach API key into the HeyReach field.
- Click Connect.
✅ Success state: Cornersight shows the HeyReach integration as Connected. You can also test the connection to confirm everything works.
Step 3: Create and launch your HeyReach campaign
Cornersight sends leads into a live HeyReach campaign, so set that up before you push anything.
- In HeyReach, go to Campaigns and start a new campaign. Give it a clear name (e.g., "Cornersight – Competitor engagers").
- Create a new empty lead list for the campaign. Cornersight will fill it for you.
- Build your sequence. Start from a template or write your own — this is where you'll use the comment and post context in your copy.
- Select the LinkedIn sender account(s) for the campaign.
- Set your schedule.
- Launch the campaign.
🚨 Critical : The campaign must be launched, not left in draft. A draft campaign won't be available as a destination in Cornersight.
Step 4: Choose what to track in Cornersight
Now decide whose engagement you want to capture. You can:
- Paste a LinkedIn post or profile URL to capture people who like or comment on it — your own content, a competitor's, or a thought leader in your space.
- Track keywords to catch engagement around specific topics.
- Let Cornersight's agent deliver high-intent leads daily, without picking sources yourself.
Engagers appear in a lead table in Cornersight, enriched and ICP scored.
💡 Pro tip: Leads already sent to HeyReach carry a HeyReach tag in Cornersight, so you can see at a glance who's already in a campaign.
Step 5: Send leads to HeyReach
- Open any lead table in Cornersight.
- Click Add action and select Send to HeyReach.
- Pick the HeyReach campaign the leads should go to. Because your API key is connected, all your launched campaigns are listed here.
💡 Note: Add action also lets you send data to a webhook (for tools like Clay, Cargo, or Claude Code). For HeyReach, use the native Send to HeyReach option.
Step 6: Choose which leads to push and add filters
- Choose what to push:
- New leads – only people who engage from now on
- Historic leads – people already captured in this table
- Both – everything already there, plus everyone new
- Add filters to match your ICP. For example: Company size is at least 400 employees. You can stack multiple filters.
- Click Save.
✅ Success state: Every enriched lead with a LinkedIn profile URL that passes your filters starts flowing into the selected HeyReach campaign.
💡 Pro tip: Filters do a lot of heavy lifting on popular posts. In the walkthrough, a company post with about 22,000 likes was filtered down to roughly 1,200 people with 400+ employees — a much tighter list than "everyone who hit like."
⚠️ Watch out: Large tables take time to process. If you're pushing historic leads from a high-engagement post, expect leads to arrive gradually rather than all at once.
Step 7: Confirm leads are arriving in HeyReach
- Open your campaign in HeyReach.
- Refresh the leads view — you should see the lead count growing.
✅ Success state: From here on, it's automatic. Every time Cornersight syncs and finds a new engager who matches your filters, that person is added to your HeyReach campaign.
Common workflows
Workflow 1: Competitor engagement → comment-based openers
Track: A competitor's LinkedIn posts Filter: Your ICP (company size, title, country) Action: Send to a HeyReach campaign with a sequence that references the post and the lead's comment
Someone comments under a competitor's post that their reply rates are dropping. Cornersight captures them, scores them, and pushes them to HeyReach. Your first message references their own words — not a cold template — while the frustration is still fresh.
Workflow 2: Warm up your own audience
Track: Your own posts (or your founder's / team's profiles)
Filter: ICP match
Action: Send to a "content engagers" HeyReach campaign
People already interacting with your content know who you are. Route them into a softer sequence — a connection request that mentions the post, followed by a value-led message.
Workflow 3: Topic intent from keywords
Track: Keywords tied to the problem you solve (e.g., "outbound list", "reply rates")
Filter: ICP + signal strength
Action: Send to a topic-specific HeyReach campaign
Instead of following specific accounts, you catch anyone engaging with the conversation. Build one campaign per topic so your messaging stays relevant.
Workflow 4: Hands-off daily pipeline
Source: Cornersight's agent
Action: Send to an always-on HeyReach campaign
Let the agent deliver high-intent leads every day and push them straight into an evergreen campaign. You focus on replies; the top of the funnel runs itself.
Troubleshooting
Problem: My HeyReach campaign doesn't show up in Cornersight.
Solution: Make sure the campaign is launched, not in draft. Then reopen the Send to HeyReach action so the campaign list refreshes.
Problem: The connection won't work.
Solution: Generate a new API key in HeyReach, paste it again in Cornersight (no extra spaces), click Connect, and run the connection test.
Problem: Fewer leads reached HeyReach than the number of engagers on the post.
Solution: That's expected. Only enriched leads with a LinkedIn profile URL that pass your filters are sent. Loosen your filters if the volume is too low.
Problem: Leads aren't appearing yet.
Solution: Big tables take time to process. Give it a few minutes and refresh your HeyReach campaign. Check that you chose Historic leads or Both if you expected existing leads to come through.
Problem: My leads have no email address.
Solution: By design. The integration sends LinkedIn data only — no emails or phone numbers.
