Expandi is another LinkedIn automation tool that helps me with outreach campaigns. It’s built for sales teams, marketers, and recruiters who want to send more connection requests and LinkedIn messages. 

Unlike simple Chrome extensions, it’s a cloud-based platform that mimics human behavior to keep my account safer. Expandi also lets me pair LinkedIn with email outreach, making it more of a multi-channel tool. I find it great for personalized outreach messages, but honestly, it can feel a bit complex when I’m just starting out.

Key features:

  • Inbox and global inbox. Expandi has two inboxes. The first one shows your normal LinkedIn messages, where you can reply, snooze, or archive. The global inbox collects chats across different workspaces so you can filter by read/unread, connection status, or message type. But unlike HeyReach, you can’t reply on someone else’s behalf, which limits teamwork.
  • Smart campaigns. You can build “if-then” sequences that change based on how a lead reacts. For example, if they accept your connection request, the system knows to send a follow-up message. If they ignore it, Expandi might send an InMail instead. This makes outreach automation feel more natural. You can also do A/B testing to find which templates bring the best response rates.
